About Us

Firewise Campus is a team of fire safety professionals working with the The Center for Campus Fire Safety and Underwriters Laboratories to provide an instructor led program targeting those who are accountable for Fire Safety at colleges and universities. Developed for the Campus Fire Safety Educator, Firewise Campus (FWC) will offer training programs with funds provided by a Department of Homeland Security Grant.

The Center for Campus Fire Safety (CCFS) was formed to provide a central focal point for the complex issues surrounding campus fire safety. The goal of the Center is to provide a place for those interested in campus fire safety to share ideas and learn from their peers. The activities of the Center are possible only because of the support of our sponsors

The Fire Prevention and Safety Grants (FP&S) are part of the Department of Homeland Security’s Assistance to Firefighters Grants Program. FP&S grants support projects that enhance the safety of the public and firefighters from fire and related hazards. The primary goal is to target high-risk populations and mitigate high incidences of death and injury.
